After working 15 years for Tennessee Farmers Mutual Insurance Company (TFMIC) I realized I needed an education to move forward in life. In 1997, at age 37, married, with children and working full time I started college. Three years to complete a two year degree, three more years to complete the bachelor degree, two more years completing masters equivalent requirements and 18 months to study for and pass all CPA Examinations. I retired from TFMIC on December 31, 2005 and started as a general partner in a CPA firm January 1, 2006.
